Maria Sobron Bernal

Policy Analyst, OECD Centre for Entrepreneurship, SMEs, Regions and Cities

Maria has been working at the OECD Centre for Entrepreneurship, SMEs, Regions and Cities (CFE) for three years. As a policy analyst, she coordinates research work on entrepreneurship and innovation in higher education in several countries (Slovenia, Spain and Latin America).

Prior to this experience, she worked in other directorates of the OECD, the OECD Public Governance Directorate and the Development Centre. Her work at the OECD has allowed her to collaborate with many countries on issues of governance, innovation and territorial development. Prior to joining the OECD, she worked at a small French digital company Selectra, where she helped the company develop its digital marketing strategy in France and Latin America. She holds a master’s degree in International Economic Policy from Sciences Po Paris and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Torcuato di Tella University in Buenos Aires.
